Paprika Onions Serves 8
4 large Bermuda onions Salt ----- 1/4 c. honey 1/4 c. vinegar 2 Tbls. vegetable oil 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. paprika
Peel onions, cut in half & place cut sides up in a single layer in skillet. Add water to almost cover, salt lightly. Cover & simmer about 10 minutes, drain well.
Combine remaining ingredients, pour over onions & simmer 30 minutes or till tender. Baste occasionally to glaze.
Remove onions to warm serving plate. Bring sauce to boil, spoon over onions.
