Thanks for asking about my beloved mangoes. We are so fortunate to have them, to have bananas and breadfruit. Yesterday, Nina brought me 2 beautiful green breadfruits from my mothers home, that I will serve today in tostones, with roasted pork and a salt cod salad.
For the candied mangoes, you can serve them with white cheese slices or by themselves, cold, with their syrop in a glass cup and garnished with fresh mint. Delicious!
