Vanilla Sauce:
Serves 6

1 c.sugar
2 Tbls.flour
1/3 c.boiling water
1/2 c.heavy cream
1 tsp.vanilla
1/8 tsp.salt
2 Tbls.butter

Blend together sugar & flour.Add gradually to the water & boil till well blended & smooth.Remove from heat.

Add the cream,vanilla,salt & butter.Stir till well blended.

Serve warm on bread or rice pudding.
