Hero Hamburgers:
8 servings

2 lbs.Ground beef
2 eggs,slightly beaten
1/2 tsp.salt
1 c.barbecur sauce
1/2 lb.American cheese,grated
1 small jar pickle relish
1/4 c.chopped onion
8 hamburger rolls,split

Combine the beef,eggs,salt & 1/4 c.barbecue sauce & mix lightly.Shape into 16 thin patties.

Place about 1 tsp.each of cheese,pickle relish,onion & barbecue sauce on top of 8 patties & cover with remaining patties.

Press edges together to seal & place in a shallow baking pan.Broil for about 8 minutes on each side,basting with remaining barbecue sauce.

Serve in heated hamburger rolls.
