Roast Chicken in Puff Pastry

This is easy and never fails to impress.

Roast the bird as you normally would. When done remove from oven.

In the interim remove puff pastry and let sit as per package directions.

After pastry has sat out unfold and drape over chicken, let it sit for a few min. until it's pliable.

Mold the pastry to fit the contours of the chicken.

Return the bird to the oven and cook until the pastry is a nice golden brown.

You can also use a cookie cutter to cut out designs in another sheet of
pastry and put these on the pastry with which you covered the bird.
