Basic Waffles
rec.food.recipes/Cindy Clifton (2002)
This recipe is from the booklet that came with my waffle iron in 1976.

1 3/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
3 eggs
7 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups milk

Sift flour, measure. Add baking powder, salt, and sugar. Sift together. In another bowl mix liquid ingredients and combine them with the dry ingredients. Mix just enough to blend.

This is the only recipe my family enjoys.
