Ham & Mushroom Toast: Serves: 6 Source:Women's Circle Home Cooking,Creative Cooking.
3 c.sliced fresh mushrooms 6 Tbls.butter or margarine 2 Tbls.flour 3/4 c.bouillon(doesnt specify which kind) 1 pint(16 oz.)sour cream salt & pepper 6 slices ham 6 slices hot,buttered toast
Saute mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes.Add flour, then stir in 3/4 cup bouillon & the sour cream.Cook,stirring till smooth.
Season with salt & pepper,(if you wish, also with chives,tarragon or dill).
Put sliced ham on the hot,buttered toast.Top with mushroom mixture & serve at once.
