Classic Nacho Dip Yield: 3 cups
1/2 cup chopped onion 2 Tbls. margarine 1 lb. process cheese spread,cubed 1 (8oz.) jar Old El Paso Thick'n'Chunky Salsa 2 Tbls. fresh cilantro,chopped
Saute onions in margarine, reduce heat to low.
Add remaining ingredients, stir till process cheese spread is melted.
Serve hot with tortilla chips (for added crispiness: a small individual bowl of chips may be microwaved for 25-35 seconds)or vegetable dippers,if desired.
Microwave options: Microwave onions & margarine in 1 1/2 quart bowl on HIGH 1 1/2 minutes or til tender.
Add remaining ingredients, mix well. Microwave 5 minutes or till thoroughly heated, stirring after 3 minutes.
