Blueberry Nut Bread
Recipe By: New York Times Heritage Cookbook

2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup sugar
1 cup blueberries
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
2 eggs -- well beaten
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons oil

Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar. Add the berries and nuts. Combine the eggs, milk and oil. Add to dry ingredients and stir just until moistened. Pour into a greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Let stand 20 min. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake 1 hour, or until tests done.
