Vegetable Juice Drink (juicer)
rec.food.veg.cooking/Tom Weston (1999)

You will need a juicer for this, I make something similar to V8 by
juicing:
2 cooked and peeled beets (without vinegar etc., if bought
cooked)
2 peeled carrots
2 sticks of celery
4-5 inches (10-12.5 cm) cucumber.
To this, add tomato juice to taste.

V8 includes lettuce and parsely as well, I think, but I have not found a satisfactory way of juicing these without altering the texture. You may like to vary the amounts depending on which types of flavor you like best.
