Grilled Steak with Ginger-Soy Marinade (George Foreman Grill) rec.food.recipes/Vera Ingham (1998) Makes 4 servings
1/4 cup chopped green onions 1/4 cup toasted sesame oil 1/4 cup light soy sauce 2 Tbsp honey 2 Tbsp minced garlic 1 Tbsp minced ginger 1/4 cup Marsala or Madeira wine 4 sirloin steaks or any steak of your choice (6-8 oz. per serving)
Combine all ingredients for marinade. This may be made in advance. Pour marinade over the steak and refrigerate for 3 hours to overnight. Let the steaks stand at room temperature for 30 before grilling. Prepare grilling machine for cooking. Grill 4 1/2 to 5 minutes for medium rare for each 1 inch of thickness.
