1 pound shrimp -- peeled and deveined 6 tablespoons clam juice 1/2 cup butter 1/4 cup green onion -- chopped 1 clove garlic -- minced 1/2 pound mushrooms -- sliced 3 tablespoons parsley 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1/4 teaspoon basil 1/4 teaspoon thyme 1/8 teaspoon basil juice of one lemon
Melt butter in large saute pan. Add onions and garlic and saute 3 - 5 minutes. or until onions are just short of browning. Add mushrooms and parsley, saute until mushrooms shrink, about 5 minutes. Add clam juice, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Stir together remaining dry ingredients and add to pan mixture. Squeeze juice into pan. Stir to mix and let simmer 5 minutes.
Serve over favorite pasta, cooked. |
