Microwave Brownies Newsgroup posting by KathyD (1983) (10 minutes from onset of chocolate attack to burning the roof of your mouth)
Bill of Materials:
1/2 cup butter or margarine 2 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate 2 eggs 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) (yuk)Build procedure:
Place butter and chocolate in appropriate device for a microwave. Zap until butter is melted. Stir to fully melt chocolate.
Beat eggs in mixing bowl. Add everything else. Mix until mixed.
Pour into 9 inch square microproof dish. Cook on maximum power*** for 6 minutes.
The recipe says the brownies will be moist but will become firm as they cool. They should live that long.
***Maximum power for my oven is 600 watts. Consider yourself warned.
