Creamed Tuna on Toast rec.food.cooking/blacksalt (2002)
…my mother used to give us creamed tuna on whole wheat toast in the winter, for lunch (I walked home for lunch). She had no recipe, but I have made it as an adult, to good reviews. I start with a double pat of butter, the flour that will melt into it, enough milk to make a can of tuna into a thick slurry, and heat all the way through. Basically tuna stirred into white sauce.
