Bread and Cheese Tuna Bake (serves two)
rec.food.cooking/LeiG (1996)

Saw this on TV and it works good. A good luncheon dish with a salad or without.

6 slices of bread
2 cans of tuna, drained
8 oz shredded cheese or sliced cheese (I used what I had which was shredded mozzarella and American cheese)
ground pepper(I used ground black & white)
garlic powder
4 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup milk

1. Spray or grease a loaf pan.

2. Lay down two slices of bread.

3. Cover with one can of the drained tuna.

4. Sprinkle with garlic powder and pepper to taste.

5. Sprinkle with 1/2 the cheese.

6. Repeat steps 2-5.

7. Top with remaining two slices of bread.

8. Press down firmly.

9. Mix egg and milk, add a pinch of salt if you like, pour it over.

10. Press down good.

11. Let stand about 10 minutes.

12. Bake in a 350 deg oven for about 1/2 hr or until eggs are set.

13. Let sit a couple of minutes on the counter.

14. Cut in half crosswise to serve two.
