Meatloaf (with Italian sausage and shredded potatoes) Rec.food.cooking/Ranee & Rich Mueller (1998)
1 lb ground beef 1/2 lb Italian sausage (sweet/hot your preference) 1 can Italian style stewed tomatoes 1 cup dry breadcrumbs 2 large eggs 1 medium onion, diced 1 large potato, peeled and shredded 6 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 cup chopped parsley 1 tsp thyme 1 tsp oregano 1/4 tsp salt 1/8 tsp pepper
Mix together and form into loaf or bake in loaf pan. Bake at 375 for about an hour, until brown and center is cooked.
