Turkey Bacon Sandwiches rec.food.recipes/Silkia (1995)
Mustard Mayonnaise: 1/4 cup mayonnaise 1 scallion 1 tbsp. grainy mild mustard 1 tbsp. red wine vinegar 1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
Sandwiches: 8 slices crusty rye or pumpernickel bread 1 1/2 Cup alfalfa sprouts 8 slices cooked turkey 8 thick slices bacon, cooked crisp 8 slices ripe avocado 8 slices ripe tomato
Make mustard mayonnaise: Mix all ingredients together in small bowl. Refrigerate covered with plastic wrap until ready to serve.
Spread mayonnaise on 1 side of each slice of bread. Layer half the sprouts the turkey, bacon, avocado, tomato and remaining sprouts on 4 slices of bread. Add top slice. Cut in half serve.
