Chocolate Crispy Drops

Makes 36

1 cup chunky peanut butter
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
8 cups crispy rice cereal
1 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup plain, unsalted peanuts -- chopped

Line baking sheets with waxed paper.

In the top of a double boiler over simmering water, melt the peanut butter and chocolate chips, stirring until smooth. Add the cereal in one addition and stir until well coated. Remove from heat and fold in the butterscotch chips.

Drop by spoonfuls onto the prepared pans. Chill for 1 hour or until firm. Remove from pans.
