Snickers-Like Bars

2 cups milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup margarine
1-1/2 cups marshmallow creme
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups dry roasted peanuts
1 pound caramels (about 55)
2 tablespoons hot water

To make first layer, combine and melt 1 cup chocolate chips, 1/4 cup butterscotch chips and 1/4 cup peanut butter. Spread mixture in buttered 13x9-inch baking pan. Cool.

To make second layer, combine sugar, milk and margarine in saucepan. Boil 5 minutes; add 1/4 cup peanut butter, marshmallow creme and vanilla. Pour mixture over first layer. Sprinkle with peanuts.

To make third layer, combine caramels and water in microwave safe dish.
Microwave until melted. Drizzle caramel mixture over second layer.

To make fourth layer, combine and melt remaining 1 cup chocolate chips, 1/4 cup butterscotch chips, and 1/4 cup peanut butter. Spread over caramel layer. Cool thoroughly and cut.
