Garlic Roasted Chicken Source: Heather
5 pound roasting chicken salt, pepper, paprika to taste 5 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 pound butter, sliced 1/2 cup chicken broth
Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika. Spread half of the garlic inside the cavity of the chicken; spread the rest on the outside. Place chicken in crockpot. Top with sliced butter. Cover; cook on low for 6-8 hours. Strain sauce and serve with chicken (thicken with cornstarch if desired).
