Ortega Burgers rec.food.recipes/Zaphod & Trillian (2000)
1 lb ground beef 1 can Ortega whole chiles, drained and seeded 4 sesame Kaiser rolls, sliced in half and toasted sliced red onion thinly sliced California Monterey Jack cheese mayonnaise sliced tomato
Shape the beef into 4 patties and barbecue to your taste. Melt a slice of cheese on each. Slather buns with mayonnaise, place a slice of tomato, a slice of red onion, the burger patty and an Ortega chile on the bun, then put the top bun on and munch!
