Apricot-Almond Torte Recipe By: cdkitchen Serving Size : 1 Torte
1 Package vanilla cake mix 1 Teaspoon almond extract 21 Ounces apricot pie filling
Heat oven to 350F degrees. Grease and flour 2 round pans, 8 or 9 1/2 inches. Prepare cake mix as directed on package adding in the almond extract. Pour into prepared pans. Bake and cool as directed. Split cakes horizontally to make 4 layers. Place one layer on a plate, cut side up. Spread 1/4 apricot filling over top. Top with another layer, cut side down. Repeat with remaining pie filling and cake layers.
