Eastern Star Chili (Minnesota) From: Mary Lou Elliott, Diamond City, AR, 1991 1 2/3 lb coarse ground chuck 1 1/3 c chopped onion 1 tb salt 1/2 tb pepper 1 1/2 c chopped celery, precooked 22 oz tomatoes; chopped 22 oz kidney beans 8 oz tomato soup 1 tb brown sugar 2 1/2 tb chili powder
Brown ground chuck and onions in a large pot. Add all other ingredients. Cover and simmer for about 1 hour. Makes 1 gallon.
