Egg Nog Pound Cake rec.food.baking/HAE7102 (1997)
1/2 Lb. Butter or Margarine 1/2 cup Crisco 3 cups sugar 5 eggs 1 tsp. baking powder 3 cups flour 1 cup sour cream 1 tsp. each: vanilla, lemon, almond, rum, brandy and sherry extractsCream butter, Crisco and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at time scraping down bowl in between. Sift together flour and baking powder and add to mixture. Stir in sour cream and flavorings. Pour into a large tube pan, which has been greased and floured. Bake for 1hr. and 30 min. in a pre-heated 325 degree oven.
