MEXICAN SKILLET DINNER
1 lb. bulk pork sausage 1/4 C. chopped instant onions 1 C. diced green bell pepper 8 oz. elbow macaroni 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes 1 C. buttermilk or sour cream 2 T. sugar 2 T. chili powder 2 tsp. Season-AllŪ
Brown sausage in deep heavy skillet; add onions and green pepper. Cook until onions are golden brown. Pour off excess fat. Add remaining ingredients; stir to moisten macaroni. Cover; bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cook 30 minutes (add boiling water if more liquid is needed as macaroni is cooking). Serves 4.
