Flank Steak Marinade Here's a marinade for flank steak (or other steak, I suppose)
1/2 cup red wine or cognac or mixture of both 8 diced scallions 8 tsp minced garlic 2 Tbsp vegetable oil 1/2 tsp ground ginger 1/2 tsp ground coriander (optional) 1/2 cup tamari or soy sauce 12 whole peppercorn
I like to put my flank steak in a gallon ziploc bag and put all the ingredients in on top, seal the bag and then squish it all together to mix.
Stick it in the fridge and marinate for at least 4 hours and hopefully overnight. Yummy - rec.food.cooking/Matt/2003
