Butterhorn Rolls alt.bread.recipes/SkyPilot/1998
1/2 oz yeast 2/3 cup warm water 1 cup milk, scalded 1/2 cup sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp salt 4 1/2 cups flour melted butter
Dissolve yeast in water.
Cool milk, add to it sugar, eggs, salt, then flour. Mix and knead. Let rise until double in size.
Roll out in circles. Brush with melted butter. Cut into pie shaped wedges. Roll up from long side to point. Brush with melted butter. Let rise.
Bake on greased cookie sheets 15 minutes at 400 or until golden brown.
