Spanish Tomato Sauce 12 Servings
1 tbsp butter or margarine 1/4 small onion 1/4 small green pepper 1/2 small garlic clove 16 oz tomatoes; undrained, 1 can 6 oz tomato paste; 1 can 1 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves;-crushed 1/2 tsp pepper 1 dash salt
Put all of the ingredients in a blender container and blend until the onion and green pepper are finely chopped. Simmer, covered, in a saucepan for 30 minutes. Serve over meat or fish.
