Hot Spiced Tea Punch rec.food.recipes/Frank Butcher/1999 Makes about 3-1/2 quarts
3/4 cup sugar 2 sticks cinnamon 6 whole cloves 2 cups water
1 large pkg red hots (I get about 6 oz of cinnamon hearts candy from the bulk food store) 1 qt apple cider 1 large can frozen lemonade 1 large can frozen orange juice 1 large can frozen pineapple juice 7 cups hot water (add with juice) 2 Tbsp instant tea 1 qt water (add with tea)
Mix sugar with cinnamon and cloves in 2 cups water. Boil 5 minutes. Add red hots, apple cider and remaining ingredients. Boil until big bubbles appear, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Keep refrigerated. Heat and serve as needed. Add a little water, if needed. This is wonderful at Christmas time.
