This really good if made with Vidallia onions
3-4 sweet onions chopped fine 2 cups water 1/2 cup cider vinegar 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup mayo celery seed(to taste)
Mix water,vinegar and sugar in bowl. Add onions and marinate in refrig 2-4 hours. Drain well and pat dry with paper towels. Add mayp and celery seed.
Serve with crackers or toasted thinly sliced baquette.
