Bolognese Sauce rec.food.recipes/Talynn313 (2002)
1/2 cup sliced carrots 1/2 cup sliced onion, chopped 1 sm. can sliced black olives 1 sm. can sliced mushrooms 1 1/2 cup ground beef 2/3 cup butter or margarine 1 1/2 cup stock or bouillon 1/4 cup white wine 3 Tbsp. tomato paste 1/2 cup heavy cream garlic powder
In large saucepan melt butter. Add carrots and onion saute until half cooked. Add garlic powder and ground beef, brown and add olives mushrooms, tomato paste, stock and white wine. Simmer 1 hour. Remove from heat and add heavy cream. Serve over pasta.
