Ramen Noodle Cabbage Salad

Combine in a large bowl:
6 cups shredded cabbage
1 (3 oz) package Chicken flavor Ramen noodles
(crush with hands, do not cook)
4 green onions, sliced thin
1 cup sunflower kernels

Whisk together in a small bowl:
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 Tablespoons white vinegar
2 Tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Chicken flavor seasoning packet from noodles

Pour over cabbage mixture.
Allow to chill several hours before serving.
