Reduced Fat Pecan Pie

1 large egg
6 large egg whites
1 1/3 cups dark corn syrup
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons reduced fat butter
1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 cup pecan halves, slivered
1 9-inch pie crust, unbaked

Preheat oven to 350F. Prepare pie shell.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the egg and egg whites until blended and frothy. Whisk in the corn syrup, sugar, butter, and vanilla until the sugar is dissolved. Stir in pecans and pour mixture into pie shell. Bake for 55 minutes or until the mixture is firm in the center. Cool before serving.
