Chinese Noodle Salad rec.food.cooking/Glenn/Sharon Gorman (1994)
1/4 cup sesame oil 1/4 cup soy sauce 2 tablespoons sugar 1/2 - 2 tablespoons chili oil 2 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar 1 pound vermicelli 1/2 cup toasted sesame seeds 1 cup green onions thinly sliced
In large bowl mix together sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar, chili oil (if you really don't like hot, hot, I suggest you use 1 tablespoon)and vinegar.
Cook vermicelli just until tender. Rinse in cold water. Drain. Mix with sauce. Add sesame seeds. Mix well. Top with green onions or mix in. Chill.
