This being the season for bbq's, I thought this would be a good one. It is mild, not spicy, and the kids love it! Easy to make, just takes a little time.

Cony Island Chili Sauce (hot dog topping)

1 lb ground beef
1 large chopped onion
3 cloves chopped garlic
1 standard size bottle ketchup
3 T. chili powder
juice from about 1/2 lemon

Add beef and onion to 2 qts. boiling water. Bring back to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours to ensure flavor.

Add ketchup, chili powder and garlic. Cook until thick.

Cool and add lemon juice. Serve on hot dogs.
