Ichiban Salad
1 small cabbage, shredded 2 green onions,sliced 1/2 toasted, slivered almonds 1 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced 1/2 lb bean sprouts 1/2 pkg chow mein noodles 1 pkg ichiban noodles, broken sesame seeds Dressing: 1 pkg ichiban seasoning mix (from inside the pkg of noodles) 3 tbsp vinegar 1/2 cup soya sauce 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp salt* 1/2 tsp pepper
Mix first five ingredients;set aside. In another bowl, mix next 3 ingredients. Just prior to serving, put the 2 mixtures together. Cover wtih dressing and stir together. *I find there is enough salt from the seasoning mix, and I don't add any myself. **Any leftovers can be turned into a stir fry.
