Fresh Peach Sauce
2 cups water 1 cup granulated sugar or Splenda artificial sweetener 2 tablespoons cornstarch 4 fresh peaches, peeled, pitted and thinly sliced 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Heat water to boiling. In a small bowl mix sugar with cornstarch. Whisk into boiling water. Reduce heat and cook until thickened. Stir in cinnamon and peaches. Cool and serve over ice cream. Yield: 4 servings.
