Cookie Sheet Cake

Need a quick dessert? This can be done in a half hour and tastes great.

2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup Crisco vegetable shortening
3 Tablespoons cocoa
2 beaten eggs
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Frosting:
1/4 cup margarine
3 Tbsp. cocoa
6 Tbsp. milk
1 lb box confectioners sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring shortening, water, and cocoa to boil in 2 quart saucepan. Then add dry ingredients. Add eggs soda, milk and vanilla and mix well.

Bake in greased cookie sheet 15 1/2x10 1/2x1 for 20 minutes at 350.

Start icing while cake is baking in the same pan you used for the cake. Heat margarine, cocoa, and milk. Remove from heat add sugar, chopped nuts and 1 tsp. vanilla. Pour over warm cake.
