Electric Skillet Fudge

Makes 64 (1-inch) squares

2 cups sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/3 cups peanut butter or 2 cups chocolate chips

Butter an 8x8-inch pan. Combine sugar, evaporated milk, and butter in electric skillet set to 280F. Bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Turn off heat. Add vanilla, marshmallows and peanut butter (or chocolate chips). Stir until melted and well-blended. Turn into prepared pan. Cool. Cut into squares.
