Tortilla Roll Ups rec.food.cooking/Judy Borus/1995
Buy a package of 12 inch tortillas and spread each one, edge to edge, with a flavored cream cheese (I make my own boursin type cheese but cream cheese with chives would be fine.)
Now lay horizontal rows of "stuff" on the tortillas, leaving the top inch clear for sealing. Use "stuff" like chopped tomatoes, chopped mushrooms, shredded lettuce, chopped eggs, shredded turkey, shredded taco cheese, chopped olives, etc.
Then roll the tortillas up from the bottom using the cream cheese edge at the top to seal the thing. Wrap snugly in plastic and chill. Then slice into rounds and serve.
Gorgeous and delicious!
