Onion Cheese Supper Bread
1/2 cup onion, chopped OR 1/4 cup dried onion and omit cooking onion in fat 1 egg, beaten 1/2 cup milk 1 1/2 cups biscuit mix 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded and divided 2 Tablespoons parsley, snipped 2 Tablespoons butter, melted
Cook onion in small amount of fat until soft
Mix egg with milk. Add to biscuit mix. Stir just until moistened. Add onion, 1/2 cup cheese and parsley. Spread dough in greased 8-inch round cake pan. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
