Candied Violets

Rinse your carefully chosen violets (pesticide free) in a big bowl of water.
Allow to dry on a towel.
Spread a sheet of wax paper or parchment for the finished flowers.
Have a bowl of water on hand to rinse your fingers.

Dip or brush the petals some fresh egg white.*
Dip or spoon-sprinkle sugar all over it.

Allow to set thoroughly, and store in a saved candy box or egg carton.

*If you don't trust your local egg supply, reconstituted dried whites can be used.
