Crispy Tofu Nuggets rec.food.recipes/Brandi Clark/1999 Adapted from a recipe in the New Laurel's Kitchen)
This makes great sandwiches.
Cut tofu in chunks and brush with soy sauce, mirin or other non-fat liquid condiment.
Bake at high temperature 375-450 degrees until brown and crisp.
Use in any recipe where crunchy protein would be desirable. (We love it in Oriental dishes.) Add just before serving to retain crunch.
