Almond Cheese Spread
1/2 cup almonds, with skins 8 ounces cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup mayonnaise, Hellmann's is good 5 slices bacon 1 tablespoon chopped green onion 1 tablespoon chopped celery 1 tablespoon green pepper, chopped 1/2 teaspoon dill weed pepper to taste
Place almonds on cookie sheet and bake at 350 for a few minutes until browned. Watch carefully.
Fry bacon until crisp; crumble.
Beat cream cheese, then gradually stir in mayonnaise. Add bacon, vegetables, and seasonings. Mix well, cover and chill overnight.
When chilled, cover top surface with almonds. Serve with an assortment of crackers.
