Chocolate Rounds with Quick Chocolate Frosting
1/2 cup shortening 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 tablespoons water 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate -- melted 2 cups Bisquick Baking Mix 1 cup chopped nuts Quick Chocolate Frosting -- recipe below
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix shortening, sugar, eggs, vanilla, water and chocolate. Stir in baking mix and nuts. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 15 minutes. Cool and frost with Quick Chocolate Frosting.
Quick Chocolate Frosting: Blend 1 cup confectioners sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa and 2-3 tablespoons water.
