Super Fast Pizza Crust
This is the real thing, streamlined so it can be made in a flash; makes a thin crust.
1 package active dry yeast 1 teaspoon sugar 2/3 cup warm water 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon olive oil 3/4 teaspoon salt
Stir yeast and sugar into the warm water in a small bowl; let stand until foamy, 5 minutes.
Combine flour, oil and salt in a food processor or a large mixing bowl. Slowly add the yeast mixture. Mix or stir until the mixture forms a soft dough. Process for 45 seconds or knead on a board until the dough is supple and smooth.
Roll on a floured board to a 14-inch circle and transfer to an oiled pizza pan.
Top and bake until crust is golden, 18 to 22 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
