Turkey Orzo Italiano
1/4 pound mushrooms, sliced 1/2 cup green onions, sliced 2 tablespoons margarine 2 cups turkey broth or reduced-sodium chicken bouillon 1 cup orzo pasta, raw 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon white pepper 2 cups cooked turkey, cubed
In large skillet, over medium-high heat, saute mushrooms and onions in margarine for 1 minute. Add turkey broth and bring to boil.
Stir in orzo, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 15 minutes or until orzo is tender and liquid has been absorbed.
Stir in turkey and heat throughout.
