Plantation Supper
1 lb. cooked and drained hamburger 1 med. onion chopped and sautéed in oil Choice of seasonings; garlic, salt, pepper to your taste 1 can (11-oz) Mexican corn (or use a can of cut corn and add chopped red and green bell pepper) amount is to your taste. 2 cans (10-3/4 oz ea.) cream of mushroom soup 1 (8-oz pkg.) cream cheese at room temperature cube it to add to mixture while cooking 1/2 to 3/4 can of milk or more if you want sauce thinner 1/2 to 1 pkg. of your choice of noodles. (I generally use the flat wide noodles) Cook noodles according to pkg. directions, drain.
Place all ingredients in a large Dutch oven and heat on med. heat until everything is warm and well blended. Season to taste, then add drained noodles, mix and serve along with a crisp green salad and garlic bread if desired. Enjoy
