Saucepan Brownies alt.cookies/Diane/2001 Makes 36
2 2/3 cups semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup evaporated milk 3 cups vanilla wafer crumbs 2 cups miniature marshmallows 1 cup chopped walnuts 1 cup icing sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup chocolate mixture saved from above 2 teaspoons evaporated milk
Put chips and mil in large saucepan. Melt over medium low heat until chips combine when stirred. Remove from heat. Measure out 1/2 cup and set aside.
Stir wafer crumbs, marshmallows, nuts, icing sugar and salt into remaining chocolate mixture in saucepan. Press into 9 x9 greased pan.
To the reserved chocolate mixture add 2 teaspoons evaporated milk, spread evenly over bars. Chill and cut into 36 squares.
