Date Nut Bread (bread machine)

This dark colored, flavorful bread will have you going back for more even if you think you don't like dates.

3/4 cup water
1 1/3 tbsp. vegetable oil
2/3 tbsp. molasses
2/3 tsp. salt
1 1/3 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup bread (or all purpose) flour
1 tsp. yeast

If you have a raisin bread cycle, add these at the beep, otherwise, add at the beginning:
2 1/2 tbsp. chopped dates
2 1/2 tbsp. chopped nuts

Follow the setting instructions for your bread machine.
